About me:
My name is Cherish Amby-Okolo, and I am the founder of Medicinal Youths. I am currently a junior at Michael E. DeBakey High School for Health Professions pursuing a career in the medical field.
My Story
A small book for my birthday present was all it took to spark my interest in the medicine.
Since then, I have tailored my academic and extra-curricular activities towards my dream speciality, neuroscience.
However for most people, that realization is not so clear cut. The medical field is usually perceived as a network of doctors and surgeons, excluding other occupations that are just as vital to the harmony of medicine.
With Medicinal Youths, I hope to share the diversity of the medical field and increase the general knowledge on various specialities.
